Terms of use
Effective: 23 October 2026
1. The service
Step Sequencer ("the service") is a free web tool for making drum patterns and songs in your browser and exporting them as audio files. Using the service means you agree to these terms.
2. Your content
Patterns, songs and audio files you create with the service belong to you, and you may use them for any purpose, including commercial use. The built-in instrument sounds are synthesised live by your browser and carry no restrictions. If you load your own audio files into the sampler, you are responsible for having the right to use them.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to infringe others' rights or break the law, and do not interfere with its operation (for example by automated mass requests or by tampering with the site).
4. Storage and backups
Projects are kept only in your browser. Clearing site data, using private browsing or switching device can remove them. Use Save to keep a project file, and keep your own backups; the operator cannot recover lost projects.
5. Advertising
The service is funded by advertising, which may appear on its pages. Ads are provided by third parties such as Google; see the privacy policy for how cookies are used.
6. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" free of charge. Sound and timing may vary with your device and browser. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for damage arising from use of the service, including lost projects or files, except in cases of the operator's intent or gross negligence.
7. Changes and discontinuation
Features may change, and the service may be suspended or discontinued. Changes to these terms will be posted on this page with their effective date.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
